Girls in gorgeous summer dresses, boys in suits and ties. I do love a good wedding.
Richard, the first of Andrew’s friends to get engaged, and his beautiful wife, Eve were married on Saturday.

 

We trekked it out to Bickley, to the perfect little winery, Brookside Vineyard. They were married in the garden, with the reception following inside.

A short, but very sweet ceremony. The “I do’s”, the groom holding back tears (isn’t that the best?!) the first kiss, and … they were married!
We made our way to the front of the venue for drinks and canapes while the bridal party stole away for photos (and we took some of our own).

Damn, my friends are good looking!

We danced, we laughed, we ate and we definitely drunk. Too much champagne and not enough food got the better of me, and we all piled back into the car to head on home.
All in all, it was a lovely day. It seemed like Rich and Eve had an amazing time, which is all that really matters. Congratulations to the happy couple!
