It feels like the entire world is in mourning today. We lost a great one.
No, we didn’t know him personally, in reality only a handful of people on earth did. No, his death isn’t more important or significant than anyone else’s.
A loss is a loss, and being famous doesn’t change that.

However, we welcomed him into our homes, into our lives. We can quote his movies, hear his laugh and picture his face… with or without the pie cream.
For a lot of people my age, we grew up hearing his voice and laughing alongside him.
Which is what makes this loss so very difficult to comprehend. He impacted our lives more than we knew.
Rest in peace Robin Williams. We thank you for your time, the laughter you shared and created, and the memories we will never forget.
